1. Phoenix House – Council Bluffs
Domestic violence shelter and advocacy program serving Council Bluffs and southwest Iowa with 24/7 crisis line, emergency housing, and support services. Advocates assist with safety planning, protective orders, and court accompaniment. Fathers who are victims, as well as mothers and children, are welcome. All services are free and confidential. Also provides follow-up case management and community education in Pottawattamie and neighboring counties.
