1. Lawrence Community Shelter – Free Meals
Lawrence Community Shelter provides emergency shelter, case management, and free daily meals for homeless and food-insecure individuals and families in Douglas County. Fathers experiencing homelessness or needing a meal can arrive during posted meal times at the E 25th St campus; no appointment is required for meals. Bring photo ID if possible. Shelter services require an intake; staff help connect residents with housing, employment, behavioral health, and benefits support alongside meals.
