Pittsburgh-based nonprofit using a mobile app and volunteer network to redirect surplus food from retailers, restaurants, and events to community organizations serving those in need. 412 Food Rescue reduces food waste while increasing food access across western PA. Fathers and families in the Pittsburgh area can find free food distributions through 412 Food Rescue partner organizations or volunteer to help rescue and deliver food.
