Statewide nonprofit providing free tax preparation through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, financial education, and individual development accounts for low- and moderate-income Marylanders. VITA sites across the state prepare returns at no cost for eligible households. Tax filers bring photo ID, Social Security cards for everyone on the return, W-2s, 1099s, and last year's return.
